valentine's session with render boudoir | modern boudoir photography in minneapolis

Hannah did a session with me as part of my new “traveling studio” sessions. For my first traveling sessions, we visited a space in NE Minneapolis’s Northrup King Building called the Rose Petal Room. One side of the studio had soft light filtering in to a romantic white bed setup with greenery and gauzy white curtains. The other side of the studio got harsh, direct light shining in and I LOOOOOVE to play in harsh light to get those shadowy, dramatic images. I though it made for a perfect mix of innocent romance and sultry mystery. Hannah will be giving the images to her husband as a Valentine’s Day gift.

She had this to say about her session, “If you have been on the fence about booking a session, don’t wait any longer!! It is totally worth it! I splurged and added hair and makeup. I have never done anything like that and man I felt great! It was my first time using a curling wand. It was also my first time buying a bodysuit. This session was clearly a lot of firsts for me! I am now a firm believer that EVERYONE should do a boudoir photo session! Britt was amazing to work with. She has great communication from beginning to end! Scheduling and asking questions was fast easy and very thorough. During the photo shoot there was no awkwardness and I was very comfortable. And during the photo review, all I could think of was Holy crap that’s really me! It’s so hard to choose your favorites as they are all so good! I would highly recommend Britt.”
